
Dr. Bing Wang was invited to participate as an Expert in the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Consultation Meeting on Microbial Risk Assessment, Rome Italy, March 11-15, 2019. This meeting was convened following the request of Codex Alimentarius Committee on Food Hygiene for FAO and WHO, to develop a single, updated guideline to provide practical guidance and a structured framework for carrying out risk assessment of microbiological hazards in foods at a national level. The primary audience for this guideline is the global community of scientists and risk assessors, both experienced and inexperienced, in risk assessment, and the risk managers they serve.
